Ben Whetstone runs a real estate business in Tampa Bay, built on twenty-five years of service and leadership. The tools on this site came out of that business, made to get his own Fridays back: listing intake, a daily deal monitor, mailing lists, report analysis. Every one replaced a job he was doing by hand.

Underneath the tools is a data practice. Ben designed the data model behind a production software platform that paying customers run on today, and he applies the same discipline at small-business scale: one source of truth, reports that build themselves, systems that talk to each other. tekd exists because every business, not just his, is carrying manual work its own data could be doing.
